Drums festival in Kanazawa

I performed as a guest player on the stage for the kids drums festival on 5th.

I wore KIMONO because I played Battle Without Honor Or Humanity - Tomoyasu Hotei-, the theme of KILL BILL.

I really enjoyed playing there.
Love, Sara

  1. Hi Sara!

I am from America! You are as we say here "off tha chain"!!!

I love all types of music but especially the drums

I hope you continue your drumming and come here to play for America.

Many great musical universities here. Two of the best are Berklee School of Music and Julliard.

    All The Best To You!!!

One of your new fans :)

  2. Hi Sara!

I have a link for you if you can understand english. www.drummerworld.com. Also, I would like to suggest some artist for you to study and listen to. Weather Report and Al Di Meola (he is a guitarist, but listen to his drummer he's good!) The Isley Brothers.

    All The Best!!

i'd love to hear your story how you get into such "classic" music, i mean rush, zappa etc...
btw, i've also seen a young girl playing rush-yyz on keyboard, is that you, 'cause she really looks like you.

  8. hi sara, it's me again...
yes, true drummer must show what's in his/her heart
i'm a long time fan of akira jimbo/casiopea (you've played their 'domino line', right?). look at his gesture while playing. he looks more relax and plays whole heartedly now than he was in the 80's. i guess that's the sign his playing become mature...
by the way, i'm looking forward to your newest vids...
